A powerful lesson from a butterfly: a man tries to help it by cutting open the chrysalis, but instead of becoming strong, the butterfly emerges with a large body and tiny, weak wings. By removing the struggle, he removed its growth.

So too in life—we often think “easier” is better, but real growth comes through challenge. Struggle is not a setback; it is what develops strength.

This is especially true in Torah learning. When we wrestle with a difficult Gemara or work hard to understand a concept, that effort is what builds us. The struggle itself is what shapes our mind, deepens our understanding, and makes us greater!
