Right Beside Me

VERSE 1
Yosef had a dream one night.
Bowing wheat, a crazy sight.
Then his whole life changed one day.
Taken far, so far away.
Egypt now, so far from home.
In a strange land all alone.
Didn't know what lay ahead.
Scared of what might come instead.

CHORUS
Help me, Hashem, I need You now.
Thank You, Hashem, You showed me how.
Every time I ask, You're near.
Always right beside me here.

VERSE 2
Yosef worked and served each day.
Did whatever they would say.
Here's a secret, listen well.
Something special he would tell.
He asked Hashem to help him through.
And thanked Hashem for all He'd do.
Hashem was there and made things right.
Helped him out both day and night.

CHORUS
Help me, Hashem, I need You now.
Thank You, Hashem, You showed me how.
Every time I ask, You're near.
Always right beside me here.

VERSE 3
Life got hard, things fell apart.
Prison cell, but strong of heart.
Still he asked Hashem each day.
Help me please along the way.
Helped a man who made a vow.
I'll remember you somehow.
But that man forgot him there.
But Hashem heard every prayer.

BRIDGE
In your life, what do you say?
When things get hard along the way.
Help me, Hashem!
Help me, Hashem!

CHORUS
Help me, Hashem, I need You now.
Thank You, Hashem, You showed me how.
Every time I ask, You're near.
Always right beside me here.
