Tetzaveh: You're Not Alone

VERSE 1
Gold bells hang from the robe he wears.
Each step rings out, the whole world hears.
He doesn't sneak, he doesn't hide.
The bells ring out on every side.
The sound goes first before his face.
He knocks before he takes his place.
A leader shows up loud and clear.
The whole world knows that he is here.

CHORUS
You're not left out, you're not alone.
Your name is right there on that stone.
The light stays on through the night.
Hashem won't let you out of sight.
He never sleeps, He's always near.
Through every doubt, through every fear.
He carries you the whole way through.
Tamid means always, He means you.

VERSE 2
Twelve shining stones sit in a row.
Each tribe has one, so all will know.
A name carved deep in every one.
For every daughter, every son.
He wears them here right on his heart.
No name falls off, no name's apart.
He walks right in, he holds us near.
He brings each name so Hashem can hear.

CHORUS
You're not left out, you're not alone.
Your name is right there on that stone.
The light stays on through the night.
Hashem won't let you out of sight.
He never sleeps, He's always near.
Through every doubt, through every fear.
He carries you the whole way through.
Tamid means always, He means you.

VERSE 3
The camp is still, the sky goes black.
But one small flame keeps pushing back.
The Ner Tamid burns through the night.
A steady glow of golden light.
The flame won't quit, the flame won't go.
It shines because Hashem said so.
It's proof He's here, it's proof He stays.
He watches you through all your days.

BRIDGE
When you feel small and no one knows.
When tears fall down and your fear grows.
When the dark feels way too deep.
And the whole world's gone to sleep.
Look up, your name is on his heart.
It's always been there from the start.
The flame still burns, you'll be okay.
Hashem is with you every day.

CHORUS
You're not left out, you're not alone.
Your name is right there on that stone.
The light stays on through the night.
Hashem won't let you out of sight.
He never sleeps, He's always near.
Through every doubt, through every fear.
He carries you the whole way through.
Tamid means always, He means you.
