Behar-Bechukosai: First You Move

VERSE 1
"Stop the work" — that's hard to hear.
"Rest the land" — it fills with fear.
But Hashem spoke before the test:
"I sent ahead My very best."
So one year fed three years of need.
More than anyone could feed.
He plans ahead — He always knows.
The blessing comes before it shows.

CHORUS
First you move. Then you feel.
First you start. Then it's real.
Take the step — don't wait to know.
Hashem moves the way you go.
Do your part — He's there before.
He's already at the door.
The heart will follow what you do.
That's how love comes home to you.

VERSE 2
Hashem gave a promise grand:
"Walk My ways and understand.
Rain will fall when fields run dry.
Peace will fill the earth and sky.
Food enough for every soul.
Hearts that finally feel whole."
But there's a part for you to play.
Walk His ways — and start today.

CHORUS
First you move. Then you feel.
First you start. Then it's real.
Take the step — don't wait to know.
Hashem moves the way you go.
Do your part — He's there before.
He's already at the door.
The heart will follow what you do.
That's how love comes home to you.

VERSE 3
Some days you won't feel ready.
Some days you won't feel steady.
Waiting keeps you in the dark.
Doing always lights the spark.
Take the step before you know.
That's the way the heart will grow.
Once you start, the rest comes too.
That's how Hashem moves with you.

CHORUS
First you move. Then you feel.
First you start. Then it's real.
Take the step — don't wait to know.
Hashem moves the way you go.
Do your part — He's there before.
He's already at the door.
The heart will follow what you do.
That's how love comes home to you.

BRIDGE
You feel too tired to learn or pray.
You don't feel up to it today.
You know what's right but feel afraid.
You wait until your feelings fade.
But here's the secret strong kids know:
You don't wait — you start to go.
Take the step, and watch it through.
The heart will catch right up to you.

FINAL CHORUS
First you move. Then you feel.
First you start. Then it's real.
Take the step — don't wait to know.
Hashem moves the way you go.
Do your part — He's there before.
He's already at the door.
The heart will follow what you do.
That's how love comes home to you.
