Music Anytime | Vayeira: Don't Walk

[Verse 1]
Some kids wait for someone to say
Could you help me out today?
But you can find it on your own
Look for the kid who sits alone
A friend who's stuck, a kid who's new
A mom who has too much to do
Kindness won't come knock on your door
Go find it, that's what feet are for

[Chorus]
Don't walk, just run to be kind
Leave your later far behind
When someone needs a hand today
Be the first to run their way
The faster you run, the more it shows
How much you care and Hashem knows
So when a chance to help comes near
Be the one who shouts, I'm here

[Verse 2]
Some days you'd rather stay in bed
And let somebody go instead
But when it's hard and you still try
That's when you reach up extra high
Don't drag your feet or take it slow
Move fast and let your caring show
Don't say I'll do it in a while
Do it now and with a smile

[Bridge]
When ice cream trucks come down the street
You fly outside on running feet
You never stop to stretch or wait
You don't want to come too late
So why walk when it's time to give?
Run, like that's the way you live
The way you run shows what's inside
A heart that's open, big and wide

[Outro]
You might think, why should it be me?
Someone else will go, you'll see
But if we all just stand and stare
Then no one's going to be there
You don't need to be big or tall
Just be the first to hear the call
The smallest kid can make a start
With quick feet and a giant heart
