[Verse 1]
There's a hope you hold inside
One you keep and try to hide
Then the answer comes back no
And your heart feels sad and low
You could quit and walk away
Or still help them win today
So you give it all you've got
Even when it hurts a lot
[Chorus]
Daven for their dream to come true
Even when you wished it was you
Give your best and give it all
Hold them up so they stand tall
When you serve them faithfully
Blessed is what you'll come to be
It's not easy, that I know
But that's how blessings start to grow
[Post-Chorus]
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
[Verse 2]
Ask Hashem with all your heart
Help them out and do your part
Pray it goes the way they planned
Like you're reaching out your hand
When their dream at last comes near
You're the one who's first to cheer
When it all turns out so good
Thank Hashem the way you should
[Chorus]
Daven for their dream to come true
Even when you wished it was you
Give your best and give it all
Hold them up so they stand tall
When you serve them faithfully
Blessed is what you'll come to be
It's not easy, that I know
But that's how blessings start to grow
[Post-Chorus]
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
[Verse 3]
Some eyes only look for gold
Things to grab and keep and hold
But a giving heart will run
Just to help out anyone
Don't stop halfway through the task
Give much more than what they ask
When you go for someone's sake
Hashem guides each step you take
[Chorus]
Daven for their dream to come true
Even when you wished it was you
Give your best and give it all
Hold them up so they stand tall
When you serve them faithfully
Blessed is what you'll come to be
It's not easy, that I know
But that's how blessings start to grow
[Bridge]
When your brother wins the prize
And the tears fill up your eyes
When your friend gets picked to lead
Be the help they're gonna need
You might feel it isn't fair
Cheer them on and be right there
That's the Torah, anytime
Lift somebody else to climb
[Final Chorus]
Daven for their dream to come true
Even when you wished it was you
Give your best and give it all
Hold them up so they stand tall
When you serve them faithfully
Blessed is what you'll come to be
It's not easy, that I know
But that's how blessings start to grow
[Outro]
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
