HaGaon Rav Moshe Hilman Shlit”a is one of the great marbitzei Torah of our times,

known and valued in yeshivos, kollelim and communities throughout the world. Rav

Hilman’s shiurim in Gemara and Halachah have guided countless people to deepen their

learning approach (derech halimud), and his inspiring hashkafa shiurim are equally

popular, helping listeners bring new understanding and meaning into their avodas

Hashem.

As a number of Gedolei Torah have noted, Rav Hilman’s chidushim approach the caliber

of previous generations, and with their vibrant delivery impart the true toil and ‘fire’ of

Torah study. At the same time, their crystal-clear structure manages to unlock even

complex topics and captivate both talmidei chachamim and less learned audiences alike.

Each shiur defines the core concepts in depth, then – building step-by-step – shows the

listener how everything fits perfectly into place.

Rav Hilman’s shiurim are built upon the derech halimud he received from his great

Rebbeim. He is a talmid of the Gaon Rav Binyomin Paler, zt”l, Rosh Yeshivas M’kor

Chaim in Boro Park, talmid muvhak of the Brisker Rov, zt”l, and one of our generation’s

Torah giants. Rav Hilman also learned for many years under the Gaon and Posek Rav

Tuvia Goldstein, zt”l, Rosh Yeshivas Emek Halachah in Boro Park who was one of the

foremost halachic authorities of our times.

Besides his shiurei Torah, Rav Hilman is the mechaber of the sefarim Omek Hakovod

and Toras Haftorah. Both works have received enthusiastic praise and haskamos from

Gedolei Yisroel, and have been accepted warmly in Klal Yisroel.
