Rabbi Shmuel Greenberg is presently called Alter Shmuel. When he was deathly ill during covid, his uncle Rav Dovid Feinstein z”l changed his name to Alter Shmuel and a נס occurred that despite being in coma for three months, on an ECMO machine for seven weeks and medical predictions he had a Refuah Shlayma. Most of the shiurim were recorded in Yeshiva Ohr Hachaim where he gives weekly shmuzen and Shiurim on the Maharal. Reb Alter Shmuel was a Talmid of Rav Nachum in Mir and was nourished from the wellspring of Torah of Rav Hunter z”l, Reb Moshe Shapiro z”l and YBC Lchaim Rav Yonason David shlit”a. Rabbi Greenberg is a Musmach of Rav Moshe Feinstein z”l and the Mirrer Yeshiva. Rabbi Greenberg presently serves as the Rav of the Young Israel of White Plain
